Canberra AirportCanberra Airport is currently undergoing the biggest transformation in its history. Over a period of three years from 2009 to 2012, $350 million will be invested in redeveloping the terminal and surrounding infrastructure.

The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) is the peak industry body representing Australia’s outdoor media display companies and production facilities, and some media display asset owners. Outdoor Media display companies advertise third-party products including:
- on buses, trams, taxis, pedestrian bridges, billboards and free-standing advertisement panels;
- on street furniture (e.g. bus/tram shelters, public toilets, bicycle stations, phone booths, kiosks); and
- in bus stations, railway stations, shopping centres, universities and airport precincts.
The industry members build, clean and maintain all structures, and provide other community infrastructure such as park benches, bins and bicycles.

Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF)
The Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) is focused on creating a competitive construction and property industry that is a leader in building Australia's prosperity. As well as facilitating communication between the different interests that make up the construction sector, ACIF provides governments and other agencies with a central and efficient industry liaison point. ACIF harnesses the energies of its members to provide leadership and facilitate change within the industry, to increase productivity, efficiency, research and innovation. ACIFs flagship Construction Forecasting Council produces the most reliable forecasts of activity in residential and non-residential building, and engineering construction, twice yearly. The forecasts are released at breakfast seminars in June and November.

Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council Profile
The Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) is the peak body of key organisations committed to a sustainable built environment in Australia.
ASBEC members consists of industry and professional associations, non-government organisations and government observers who are involved in the planning, design, delivery and operation of our built environment, and are concerned with the social and environmental impacts of this sector.
ASBEC provides a forum for diverse groups involved in the built environment to gather, find common ground and intelligently discuss contentious issues as well as advocate their own sustainability products, policies and initiatives.
ASBEC is a non-profit volunteer organisation. Members commit their time, resources and energy to developing practical opportunities for a more sustainable built environment.

Australasian Procurement and Construction Council Inc (APCC)
The Australasian Procurement and Construction Council Inc (APCC) is the peak council of departments responsible for procurement, construction and asset management policy for the Australian, State and Territory governments and the New Zealand Government. Papua New Guinea is an associate member.
The APCC has established itself as a national reference point for both government and industry on best practices, principles and emerging issues in procurement, construction and asset management disciplines.
The APCC forum is a catalyst for knowledge sharing, intelligence gathering and has the information networks to draw on for innovative business solutions for jurisdictions to deliver expected targets, savings and outcomes. The APCC collective continues to strengthen relationships with government partners and other stakeholders to promote a consistent and coordinated national approach to government procurement.
Council of Capital City Lord Mayors (CCCLM)
The Council of Capital City Lord Mayors (CCCLM) represents the combined interests of the Capital Cities of the Australian States and Territories in their relations with the Federal Government, and facilitates co-ordination and the sharing of innovative policy ideas across the cities. The CCCLM consists of the principal members of all seven capital city councils and the ACT Minister for Territory and Municipal Services. The CCCLM secretariat is based in Canberra.
National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA)
The National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) represents 24 of Australia's fastest growing outer metropolitan municipalities, which house over 3.3 million residents. Over the next 20 years the population of these areas will grow at double the national rate. NGAA advocates a more equitable and sustainable approach to growth areas to improve outcomes for residents, the environment and national productivity. NGAA proposes utlising the significant opportunities in the growth areas, together with further investment in infrastructure and services, to achieve this. NGAA undertakes research, inputs into policy and develops proposals to pursue these aims.
